Peter Magnani: Founder & CEO Prior to launching Beam, Peter worked in the media and advertising industry at Interpublic and Omnicom working with brands such as Apple, Google and Vodafone.developing entrepreneurial cultures and innovating products and services within the data and digital ecosystem and was recognised by the Economist in 2012 and the Internationalist in 2014 as an industry innovator. Motivated by his own struggles with stress, he conceived and developed Beam as self-management tool designed to be accessible and affordable for all.
Paul Hulatt: CTO Responsible for Beam’s technical direction and development, Paul brings over 25 years IT & software engineering experience. Prior to joining Beam, Paul designed and built the Supermarket Check-In app during the first UK COVID-19 lockdown which has been downloaded by over 750,000 users and hit the top of the App Store charts. Previously Paul spent 13 years working in motor sport at Brands Hatch as the leader of digital at MSV and was responsible for major projects including those for the British Superbike Championship & FIA Formula 2 Championship.
Dr Shorful Islam: CDAO Dr Shorful Islam has a PhD in Psychology, specialising in Health Psychology He has over 20 years of industry experience in data analytics and advanced analytical and statistical techniques. He is the founder of Be Data Solutions, and Subatomic Analytics, and advisor to OutThink, a predictive human risk platform. Shorful has helped some of the world's largest companies with their data strategies. He has recently published "Data Culture" which explores how leaders can develop and nurture a data-driven culture 's to drive behavioural change.
Alexandra Phillips: CPO Alexandria Phillips is a clinical psychologist with a doctorate in clinical psychology and expertise in evaluating psychological interventions for people living with obesity. She has a strong interest in the interplay between physical and psychological health. Alexandria has worked clinically in the NHS with individuals with complex and enduring mental health difficulties for seven years and has contributed to national multi-centre clinical trials evaluating psychological therapy. She is passionate about advancing mental health care and improving patient outcomes.
Nick White: CCO Nick is an ex-research scientist with a passion for continuous learning and wellbeing. As a seasoned senior operator with extensive experience in omni-channel and e-commerce, he has a proven track record in diverse fields such as healthcare, high-tech, aviation, and more. Nick excels in providing turnkey solutions for online learning and coaching, focusing on the Totara Talent Experience Platform. He brings expertise in VR/AR, e-commerce, and system integrations to drive innovation and efficiency.
Christine Loh: Product Design Christine is a Product Designer at Beam with a passion for UX/UI design. She has a diverse background, having led the design of Beam and established its design system. Christine brings a wealth of experience from her internships and roles in various industries, including digital marketing and e-commerce, enhancing her holistic design approach. Her expertise in user research, wireframing, and prototyping allows her to create intuitive and engaging user experiences that drive engagement.
Rohit Sunku: Data Analytics Rohit is a Data Engineer at Beam with over a year of experience in data science and analytics. At Beam, he creates predictive models to forecast trends and improve user experience, collaborating on building recommendation models and visualizing decision trees. He has previously worked as a Cloud Data Engineer at Vantage Point Global and TP ICAP, contributing to cloud data platform projects. Rohit's expertise in data analysis and machine learning drives enhanced app performance.
Josh Mead: Digital Marketing Josh is a Digital Marketing Specialist at Beam, bringing a wealth of experience from his roles at TUI Cruises and Red Sentence. At Beam, he manages social media and content creation across the Wellbeing ecosystem, executing digital marketing campaigns, PPC, SEO, and web design. Josh drives impactful marketing strategies and optimizes project deliverables, enhancing brand visibility and user engagement. Josh's focus is on the promotion of Beam’s services and benefits.
